Progressively we have implemented and maintain various programs
and services that allow us to achieve our foundational
objective, to Defend Children’s and Young People’s Right.
Integral Support to young people of legal age.
Through this service we provide support for those young people who have been tutored by the Administration, or are at social risk, and still need a follow-up to reach their full personal autonomy and social integration.

To achieve this goal, our organization offers a variety of
resources: welfare (homes or apartments), education (courses and
financial support for training), employment (job placement
company), legal (juridical and legal advice), financial (micro
credits) and therapeutic (psychological support to victims of
abuse or sexual abuse). Everything meant to get them to enjoy a
decent life.
Up to 2008 a total of over 150 young people benefited from this
service in some of its sections
Therapeutic Redress Service for Children and Young People Victims of Abuse and / or sexual abuse.
According to medical literature in this regard, it is estimated
that between 70 and 80% of abused boys and girls will be abusive
adults if they don’t receive a specific and specialized
treatment to enable them to assume their reality, and also
overcome their own traumas and after-effects.

This Service, operative since 2000 has already treated over 150
children or young people, with an absolutely positive valuation,
and with a very high probability of interrupting the
intergenerational transmission of the phenomenon of abuse and
sexual abuse.
Moreover, since 2007, we've added to this Service, already
considered a landmark in its field, a new Therapeutic Unit which
acts in accord to the teachings and recommendations of Dr. Cloe
Madanes, from Robbins-Madanes Center for Strategic Intervention
in La Jolla CA (USA), and the University of San Francisco, with
some remarkable results over a very short period of time of
action.
Hospital escort services.
This area of activity aims to ensure proper monitoring and care
of children who, tutored by the Administration and cared in any
of its foster homes, are admitted to any hospital in Catalonia.
With more than 20,000 hours of support to a total of more than
165 children a year, we intend to give these children the
affection, love and care that for the mere fact of being
admitted to a hospital they can not have.
Unit of Social Pediatrics
The primary objective of this unit is the Diagnosis, Treatment
and Referral of cases in which some form of juvenile infantile
abuse or sexual abuse is suspected to have occurred.
Having dealt with around 40 cases per year, this unit is now
consolidated, for its rigor and prestige, as a Special Unit of
Reference in our social and sanitary environment, and the
agreement for its partnership has been expanded for it to
operate until 2012.
Foster Family Service
Through this service we try to offer children and young people
who for certain reasons can not be cared for by their own
families a new opportunity to enjoy the warmth, love and care
that they should have received.
Nowadays nearly 100 altruistic, generous and motivated families
related to our organization have opened their home, heart and
life to any child who needed it, making the gesture of the
greatest solidarity that can be done to a child, to give him a
new life, a new home.
Nearly 200 children are benefiting at the moment this service,
but there are still many others in the health care centers that
could also be accommodated, which also entitled to a new
opportunity, so we still need families.
Collection, Transfer and Temporary Custody Service
The target for this service is basically to ensure that the
attention paid at the time of collection and transfer to young
people under the tutelage of the Administration, when for any
reason they are in police or administrative premises, is
accurate and provided by professionals in the social and
educational fields.
This Service works on an annual basis with over 350 children and
young people each with their own characteristics and needs.
Therapeutic Support to Serious Pediatric Patients Program
Through a specific request of the Pediatric Service of the
Hospital Universitari Germans Trias y Pujol (Can Ruti),
Badalona, this new program was implemented in 2006. It attempts
to alleviate, as far as possible, the needs, demands and
anxieties that appear in both families as patients, in the
process of accepting the reality of a serious chronic illness
such as infectious diseases (including HIV infection), cardiac,
neurological (psychomotor disturbances, mental retardation,
paralysis, etc ...), that stem from prematurity or other
perinatal, genetic, hereditary or social problems,.
International Cooperation.
In our Foundation we have a project in support of the Saharawi
people.
This consists of two clear tracks: One during the winter, when
we have been helping financially the School for handicapped
children in Smara.
On the other hand, during the summer holidays, we organize a
work camp for 14 to 18 years old boys and girls, where in
addition to providing these young people the opportunity to
learn about another culture and way of life, we carry material
to the war-wounded Centre and the School for handicapped
children in Smara, and also we paint, collect and arrange
materials and assemble the School library.
Christmas Campaign
Through this service we provide gifts and
toys to all children cared for in foster homes of Catalonia,
with an annual total of more than 2,000 children and young
people as beneficiaries.
